Cleo is a partner at Stride.VC starting June 2021. As an operator, Cleo has scaled companies from Series B to IPO. As an early GM at Uber China, she grew business volume by >1000x in 2 years, building Guangzhou into Uber's largest city globally. Later as Director of Operations in EMEA, Cleo led the platformization of operations for Uber's 45 EMEA countries prior to Uber's IPO. Most recently, she was COO and board member at Spotahome.

Cleo's career has encompassed both operations and investing. Cleo has passionately backed founders as an angel investor in >60 startups in Europe and the US — focusing mostly on marketplaces, B2B, fintech, and consumer. Prior to Uber, she was a two-time founder, a proprietary trader at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and a consultant at McKinsey. Cleo holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Rice University.
