Clement Pang serves as Principal Engineer/VP at VMware in the Modern Applications Platform Business Unit (MAPBU). He was a co-founder and Chief Architect at Wavefront which began in January 2013 with venture funding from SHV, Sequoia, and Tenaya Capital, and was acquired by VMware (USD 375M) in May of 2017.

At VMware, Clement still codes every day, is involved in sales, strategy, hirings, and evangelizes observability techniques. You can find his talks on YouTube on product and the observability space.

Prior, Clement was a Staff Engineer/TL at Google in the Risk Engineering team.
