PredictionIO was an open source machine learning platform that aimed to democratize and accelerate the adoption of machine learning. It had raised seed funding from investors including Azure Capital, QuestVP and CrunchFund, etc. It was acquired by Salesforce in 2016. Prior to PredictionIO, Donald worked at NVIDIA on their first generation of general purpose GPUs. Before moving to the US, he co-founded a network engineering firm in Hong Kong. Donald received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. degree in EECS from University of California, Berkeley.
